On the Road to Joomla! 6.2

The countdown has begun. Joomla 6.2 is approaching fast, and while plenty of improvements and fixes are ready, many still need proper testing before they can be merged into the core. New features are already in place, but they require thorough community testing to ensure a stable, reliable release. Often, contributing takes only a few minutes — and every test helps make Joomla! stronger.

For years, “Pizza, Bugs & Fun” (PBF) events have been held worldwide to teach anyone how to test Joomla effectively. Participants work together to review open issues, validate fixes, improve documentation, and push the project forward. And thanks to generous sponsors, nobody has to debug on an empty stomach.

This time, we’re gathering for a Joomla! Hands-On Day, both online and in person.

Whether you’re just starting out or deeply experienced, whether you design, develop, run a business, or represent a JUG — everyone is welcome. Joomla users of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels can join in. Curiosity is the only requirement.

We warmly invite all Joomla enthusiasts, regardless of prior knowledge, to take part. Every bit of support helps move Joomla! forward.
